Each year the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign gives us an opportunity to make charitable donations to four affiliates whose efforts directly assist Air Force members and their families. The Air Force Aid Society, the General and Mrs. Curtis E. Lemay Foundation, the Air Force Enlisted Village Indigent Widows' Fund, and the Air Force Indigent Widows' Fund each provide critical support for Air Force families in need.

This year's AFAF campaign at Los Angeles AFB started on 19 March and will continue through 27 April. I appreciate everyone's support for the Air Force Assistance Fund in the past, and I know that this year's campaign will be equally successful. Please take the time to review the AFAF brochure, and make a contribution that truly supports our own Air Force family. See your wing/directorate AFAF POC for more information. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sincerely

MICHAEL A. HAMEL
