Los Angeles Air Force Base Celebrates Women’s History Month

Women’s History Month is celebrated each year in the United States during the month of March. It was established as a month-long National celebration in 1987 to commemorate and honor the tremendous contributions women have made throughout history and today’s society. International Women’s Day falls every year on 8 March, and this year’s theme is, “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.” This year, we have many Women’s History Month activities planned aimed to honor the importance of women empowerment. Our goal is to inspire and encourage connections.
