Los Angeles AFB, SMC connect cultures unified in diversity
John Baldonado, chief of Acquisition Contracts for the Space and Missile Systems Center, tells how he went from being a civilian engineer with no prior military experience, of Asian-Pacific descent, and a first-generation immigrant brought up in a traditional household with a family ethic and cultural traits to a top management position during the "Leadership in a Diverse Air Force" panel discussion Sept. 23 in the Gordon Conference Center at the Schriever Space Complex.
