Col. Dermanoski Change of Command

During a formal Change of Command Ceremony, U.S. Space Force Col. Andrew “Andy” Dermanoski took command of Space Base Delta 3 at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California on May 29, 2024. In a symbolic gesture, Garrant passed the command flag to Dermansoki, the new delta commander, pausing for a quick photo. June 2024 Knight of the Month

Tech Sgt. Gary Bonita is the Transportation Manager from the 61st Civil Engineer and Logistics Squadron at LA AFB. The knight of the Month program recognizes outstanding members of individual units each month. Motorcycle Safety Awareness Day

Space Base Delta 3’s Safety office, in a triumphant collaboration with Security Forces, orchestrated the revival of Motorcycle Safety Awareness Day after a hiatus of 14 years on Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California, April 29, 2024. The event began with a group ride from Hawthorne to the base in the morning, with a victory lap around the installation to make noise and attract visitors to the commissary parking lot where the event kicked off with the playing of the National Anthem, posting of the colors and guest speaker Officer Andrew Sepulveda, from the California Highway Patrol.
