LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Congratulations to our Space Base Delta 3 July Knight of the Month, Senior Airman Danika Seifert, Radiology Technician, 61st Medical Squadron!
As a Radiology Technician assigned to the 61st Medical Squadron, SrA Seifert maintains $1.5 million of radiology equipment, enabling the execution of 2,000 annual exams for 65,000 eligible beneficiaries across the Los Angeles region. Her role is crucial for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions to ensure the readiness of our joint service members and their family members. Seifert’s meticulous attention to detail has been pivotal in driving the department's exam rescan rate down to 1.6%, a remarkable achievement exceeding the national average for diagnostic imaging by 7%!
Hailing from Azusa, California, Seifert balances her dual-military life alongside her husband, Dustin, an Aircraft Maintainer stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Off duty, Seifert sings karaoke, cultivates her artistic skills in drawing and scrapbooking, and pursues completing her American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification. As a third-generation service member with a family history steeped in military service – her grandfather in the Navy, her father in the Army, and four aunts/uncles in the Air Force – Seirfert carries on a proud tradition.
Thank you, Senior Airmen Seifert for all that you do for Space Base Delta 3 and Los Angeles Air Force Base!
