LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Thank you to those who joined us for Los Angeles Air Force Base (AFB) Pride Month Opening Festivities in the Schriever Space Complex Courtyard!
Participants and volunteers began celebrations for pride month by enjoying colorful cupcakes and rainbow spaghetti noodles. There was an information booth with helpful pamphlets and fliers with facts about gender-affirming care for LGBTQ+ active-duty members and veterans. Many spun a wheel and tested their knowledge answering trivia questions about LGBTQ+ history and current events. Colorful temporary tattoos and other swag was available.
