The time has finally come!! #SBD3 unveiled a new shield at yesterday’s all call ☀️ •The gold border- symbolizes the standard of excellence by which we are measured. •The background- red which represents valor & the gallantry of our force & dark blue which represents justice & integrity to carry out the continued journey through outer space. •The knight’s gauntlet uplifting a sword- exemplifies our support for national security and the call to action in leading the way within the space domain. •The Roman Numeral 3 represents the United States Air Force core values. •The gold orbital- signifies our agility and control over a unified force.
