Los Angeles AFB Radiology Clinic Hours of Operation 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Mondays - Fridays Contact phone number COMM: (310) 653-6726/25 FAX : (310) 653-6703 Services Provided X-Ray (Routine Imaging) Routine X-ray procedures do not require an appointment; they are done on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday between 0700 and 1600 unless otherwise noted. Children are not allowed into the exam room, so childcare arrangements should be made ahead of time. There is typically no preparation prior to routine X-ray examinations. Comfortable clothing is recommended but not necessary since you may have to change into a gown depending upon on the type of exam being performed. (Disposable gowns and shorts are provided when necessary). Radiology does accept prescriptions from TriWest approved providers. Special Exams Exams not performed in the clinic (i.e. Mammogram, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Studies, Bone Densitometry) are scheduled off base through local Managed Care Support Contract (MCSC) facilities (i.e. Providence Little Company of Mary, and Westchester Imaging. Patients can come by the radiology department, or call to schedule their appointment. Radiology will accept prescriptions from TriWest approved providers for these exams as well. Useful Information Radiology is closed the first Thursday of every month from 7 to 10:30 a.m. for training. You can obtain a copy of your exam(s) on a disc immediately after your exam. Please allow an extra 15 minutes after your examination. Appointments are scheduled at Radiology's front desk or by calling 310-653-6726/25 Final reports take 3 to 5 business days. Refer to the ordering physician for results.
