Hours of Operation Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on all federal holidays and training days every 1St Thursday of the month. If urgent care is needed go to the nearest Emergency Room. Patient Information Walk-in hours for the following services: Spectacle pick-up Ordering (current prescription) Repair and adjustment of military spectacles Monday through Friday: 7 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Please note that retirees and dependents are not authorized eye exams at LAAFB and can be seen off base without a referral from the Optometry clinic. New contact lens fittings are not done at Los Angeles AFB. If you currently wear contact lenses and have a copy of the contact prescription, that prescription may be updated. For patients who would like updates to their contact lenses prescription should wear them to their appointment and bring their previous contact lens prescription and spectacles.
