Air Force Civilian Service Job Fair Update

The Air Force is looking for qualified civilian acquisition professionals to join the Space and Missile Systems Center. The SMC job fair will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott, 5855 West Century Boulevard, California from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base is hosting a hiring event for candidates to join the Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) and help support the mission of SMC, the center of technical excellence for developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining military space systems.

While there are opportunities for many specialties such as engineers (astro, aerospace, electrical, mechanical and thermal), LA AFB also offers opportunities in fields such as acquisition program management, budget analysts, logistics, contract specialist and financial management analysts.
