Space Systems Command
July 1, 2025 | 2:28
Welcome to Acquiring Minds, where we break down how the capabilities acquired by Space Systems Command are empowering our Nation's fighters. Today we’re highlighting Military GPS User Equipment. The Joint Modernization Handheld (JMHH) is next generation GPS user technology that receives anti-jam, spoof-resistant M-code. This includes our Joint Modernized Handheld (JMHH) Next-Gen GPS receivers. U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Space Force, along with Norwegian and French allied partners recently participated in a real-time demonstrational test of the near-final hardware and software. Once completed, the new JMHH technology will expands the use of M-Code beyond platforms within the air, sea, and land domains and deliver to individual warfighters anywhere in the world and across any operational environment.
