From left to right, Marc Person, 61st Force Support Squadron Airman and Family Readiness Center, student interns Jason Woodrum and Dejha Harris from the University of Southern California's Adults and Healthy Aging Department, Cathy Howard, 61st FSS director of the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Senior Airman Gerard Listhrop from the Space and Missile Systems Center's Financial Management Directorate, student interns Rebecca Dardon from USC's Community, Organization, Planning and Administration Department and John Howard from USC's Adults and Healthy Aging Department take a group photo during an introductory reception Sept. 9 hosted in the A&FRC at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, Calif. A partnership between USC's Masters in Social Work program and the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles AFB will play a critical role in preparing future graduates for contemporary clinical issues in their chosen profession by understanding of military culture and the commitment that is made by the men and women of the armed forces, as well as the sacrifices of their families.
