USC interns interact with SMC and Los Angeles Air Force Base
Rebecca Dardon, a student intern from the University of Southern California's Community, Organization, Planning and Administration Department chats with Cathy Howard, 61st FSS director of the Airman and Family Readiness Center during an introductory reception Sept. 9 hosted in the A&FRC at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, Calif. Student interns from USC's Masters of Social Work program are taking advantage of an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in partnership with the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles AFB as they provide services and referrals to active-duty military and their families.
