POW/MIA Torch Relay
Lt. Col. David Learned and Capt. Ellen Ellis, Global Positioning Systems Wing, bring the POW/MIA torch on base after running the last leg of a 9 ½-mile relay from Redondo Beach’s Veterans Park. The torch was passed to awaiting relay members to complete a 24-hour run around the base track and commemorate the sacrifices made by US prisoners of war and missing-in-action throughout the nation’s history.
