SMC Diversity Day
Two musicians drum to an African beat in one of the many music and dance performances during the Space and Missile Systems Center’s first Diversity Day celebration in the Schriever Space Complex courtyard, Aug. 4. The center set aside a major portion of the duty day to observe and acknowledge the cultural variety in its diverse workforce for this first-time event. The organizers, entertainment and educational displays were all inclusive of a primarily volunteer effort. Volunteers were from the local community as well as employees and Airmen from Los Angeles AFB. (Photo by James Gordon)
