SMC Diversity Day
Two Taekwondo students demonstrate their skills during one of the many cultural performances at the Space and Missile Systems Center’s first Diversity Day celebration in the Schriever Space Complex courtyard, Aug. 4. The theme for Diversity Day was, “One World, One Team, One Mission,” drawing from the premise that diverse backgrounds and experiences add value to the team focus of delivering space power to today’s warfighter, which is the mission of SMC. Volunteers were from the local community as well as employees and Airmen from Los Angeles AFB. (Photo by James Gordon)
