Air Force Tech. Sgt. Nicholas Panula, who recently earned his Dental Lab Certificate in crown and bridge, shapes a tooth to perfection for a patient at the Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, Calif. He joined the military in 2012 as a Dental Lab Technician, which is an uncommon first job as many usually cross-train into the lab career field from other specialties.
