Veterans Day – Sporting Engagements
On Nov 10, in recognition of Veterans Day, the Los Angeles Kings organization honored Airmen and Guardians from Space System Command and Space Base Delta 3 with a private tour of their training facility. The tour included pit stops at the players’ personal kitchen and lounge area, practice room, and gym. The visit to the Kings training center, located within a mile of Los Angeles Air Force Base, is one of several activities local professional sports team planned for SSC and SBD3 servicemembers in recognition of their service and sacrifice.
