SMC honors POW/MIA; marks Air Force’s 68th Birthday with 24-hour torch relay
Coast Guardsmen fire off one of seven cannon rounds at U.S. Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach on Terminal Island in the Port of San Pedro during the POW/MIA torch relay run ceremony Sept. 17. Two rounds were fired at the start, signifying the strong partnership between the Air Force and Coast Guard teams.
