Military Saves Week
Military Saves Week 2008 kicked off at Los Angeles Air Force Base, Feb. 25. The Airman & Family Readiness Center and Aerospace Federal Credit Union have teamed up to promote saving. Military members and civilians alike took the “Saver Pledge” to build wealth and not debt. Others showed their commitment to being a saver by cutting up their credit cards and adding them to the jar. In addition to the exhibit on base and at the Aerospace Cafeteria, the A&FRC is hosting special financial workshops including Personal Financial Basics, Credit Report Review & Identity Theft, and Home Buying.
