Dancers jive and swing at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Spouses Club Auction for Education at the Fort MacArthur Community Center, March 13. This year’s event had a 1950’s theme and included a silent auction, dessert auction and sock hop. The auction raised $17,000. Proceeds from the event benefit college scholarships for family members who are graduating from high school this year. The scholarships are scheduled to be awarded at a ceremony, May 13.
