Event goers got into the spirit of the 1950’s at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Spouses Club Auction for Education at the Fort MacArthur Community Center, March 13. This year’s event included a silent auction, dessert auction and sock hop. The auction raised $17,000. Proceeds from the event benefit college scholarships for family members who are graduating from high school this year. The scholarships are scheduled to be awarded at a ceremony, May 13.
