Korean Bell 2010

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa speaks at the Korean Bell ceremony, July 4. Located in San Pedro’s Angel’s Gate Park, the bell and the pagoda housing it were gifts from the Republic of Korea in honor of the U.S. Bicentennial in 1976. Craftsmen from Korea were flown in to build the pagoda. (Photo by Atiba S. Copeland)
