Girl Scout cookies donated to the U.S. military
Capt. Adam Zanotti passes a box of Girl Scout cookies to a young girl assisting in Operation U.S. Mint April 17, 2012. Operation U.S. Mint is a partnership between the Girls Scouts organization and the United Services Organization to donate Girl Scout cookies for U.S. military. More than 18,000 boxes of cookies were donated to the Bob Hope Hollywood USO at Los Angeles International Airport. Zanotti, a member of the Development Planning Directorate at Space and Missile Systems Center, was one of several SMC airmen who joined Girl Scouts from various troops in the Los Angeles area to unload the first pallet of cookies: 2,400 boxes. The cookies will serve as a tasty morale boost for military members preparing to deploy. (Photo by Capt. Angelic Dolan)
