LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, El Segundo, Calif. -- Dignitaries and former SMC commanders attended the unveiling of the Wall of Honor, which honors early space pioneers at a ceremony held at Los Angeles AFB June 19. The 2014 honorees include Karel Jan Bossart, Dr. Ivan Alexander Getting, Brig. Gen. (ret.) William King Jr., Col. (ret.) Frederic C.E. Oder, Dr. Simon Ramo, and Maj. Gen. (ret.) Osmond Jay Ritland. The wall unveiling is one of a number of activities planned to mark SMC's 60th Anniversary.
