Los Angeles AFB Airman Wins AF Medical Award

The Air Force Surgeon General recently announced the recipients of the Air Force Medical Service 2014 Annual Awards and a Los Angeles Air Force Base Airman was among the winners.

Tech. Sgt. Starr Williams, 61st Medical Squadron is the recipient of the USAF Physical Medicine Craftsman Award.

The categories included both individual and team awards. The recipients were honored for their work in forward-deployed locations, world-class research and teaching, improvement of home station medical care, outstanding oversight of the medical Personnel Reliability Program and innovation.
