LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE - EL SEGUNDO, Calif --  "Warrior of the Week" is part of the SMC Mission of the Month campaign to recognize and spotlight the men, women and team members from the Space and Missile Systems Center's directorates for their efforts on building the future of military space.

Commander's Comments: "Chad Bise's technical expertise is critical to maintaining the operation capability of our GPS Operational Control Segment," said Col. Steve Whitney, director of the Space and Missile Systems Center's Global Positioning Systems Directorate. "His network engineering knowledge has resulted in successful modernization projects and upgrades to the current AEP system, which is improving its cybersecurity posture and making the architecture sustainable until the future operational delivery and transition to the GPS Next Generation Operational Control Segment. I am personally grateful for his dedication and commitment to our mission."
