LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE - EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- "Warrior of the Week" is part of the SMC Mission of the Month campaign to recognize and spotlight the men, women and team members from the Space and Missile Systems Center's directorates for their efforts on building the future of military space.

Warrior of the Week: Mr. Joseph D. Barsotti

Directorate: Global Positioning Systems

Duty Title: Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Program Integration Chief

Years in Service: 6 years

Time on Station: 6 years

Hometown: Long Beach, Calif.

Goals: Be an outstanding husband, get Milestone B approval for MGUE, and travel to all seven continents

Hobbies: Running, reading, and beach volleyball

Greatest achievement: Passing the California Bar
