The objective of the Academic Recognition Program is to recognize children of active duty military families in grades 1-12 for their outstanding scholastic achievements. Children of active duty military families (all branches, including activated Guard and Reserve) in grades 1-12 who meet the specified requirements are eligible to apply. Students may enter in one or both categories each term - Outstanding Grade Point Average and Outstanding Improvement. The Outstanding Grade Point Average category is for students with a 3.5 GPA or above during the term. The Outstanding Improvement category is for students demonstrating academic improvement of at least an increase of .5 in the overall GPA from the previous term.
