LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Lieutenant General Ellen Pawlikowski, SMC commander, along with other panel members including Astronaut Mae Jemison and Space X President Gwynne Shotwell participated in a panel about the future of space at the Milken Institute's Global Conference, April 30. The topic of the panel discussion was "Pushing the Frontier: How the Space Industry Is Changing the Way We See the World."

The 16th annual Global Conference was held this year in Beverly Hills, Calif. More than 600 panelists participated in 140 sessions covering a wide range of topics.
