LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Month of the Military Child is a time to recognize military children and families for the many sacrifices they make and the challenges they overcome.
For nearly 40 years, April 1 has marked the Defense Department's kickoff for the Month of the Military Child. We recognize, honor and celebrate the vital role they play in support of their military parents, community and our nation.
The drawings are from Los Angeles Air Force Base children, ages 3 to 5 years old, to celebrate.
