US AIR FORCE SPACE PITCH DAY

The Air Force Space Pitch Day is an "invitation only" two-day event that features esteemed keynotes, expert panels, innovative startup pitches, a dynamic expo floor of up to 60 booths and the potential for Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) Phase II awards tor small businesses focused on: innovation in early missile detection and warning, space situational awareness, space communications, space visualization, multi-domain command and control, data mining, operations within electronically contested environments, artificial intelligence, responsive launch systems, space logistics, and protection of critical space assets.

The event will be held in San Francisco, California from November 5 to 6. The event demonstrates the AF’s willingness and ability to work with non-traditional startups using proven SBIR Special Topic Open Topic layout where each Pitch Day Topic is tied into a specific Program Executive Officer’s (PEO’s) needs to give the greatest chance for continued funding and transition. The Air Force Space Pitch Day is an example of leveraging modern commercial business practices to enable the rapid development of small business ecosystems that have dual-use cutting edge technologies that support the Military Industrial Complex to enable the fielding of fast, relevant and affordable solutions.
