CMSgt Sarah R. L. Morgan serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader, Space Base Delta 3 (SBD 3), Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California. In this capacity she is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Installation Commander, providing guidance and oversight for five squadrons, six staff agencies, supporting over 7,000 personnel with $1 billion in physical plant assets and guides the annual execution of a $61.4 million annual budget. SBD3 provides medical services, civil engineering, communications, chaplain, security, logistics, personnel, readiness, and quality-of-life services to the co-located Field Command, Space Systems Command, and many other Department of Defense units in the Los Angeles area. Furthermore, CMSgt Morgan advises the Commander on matters of professional development, work force utilization, readiness, culture, welfare, and mission effectiveness for over 850 personnel, preparing them for tomorrow’s complex battles.
Chief Morgan grew up in Lynnwood, Washington. She enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2000. Prior to her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader to the 9th Force Support Squadron, Beale AFB, California. She has held positions as a Fitness Center Apprentice, Missile Alert Facility Chef, Protocol Specialist, MAJCOM Protocol Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, Enlisted Aide, AFGSC MAJCOM Functional to Enlisted Aides, Senior Enlisted Aide to the United States Air Force Vice Chief of Staff and Senior Enlisted Aide to the Air Force Chief of Staff. Her assignments include bases in California, Colorado, Louisiana, Nebraska, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., Wyoming, and deployment in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM
